amazing writing and great narration

What a great series - the writing is superb it just draws you in. The crime itself is so complicated and then you get so conflicted with how it pans out. I just had to keep listening and I had just listened to the previous book and went straight onto this.

It was also nice to have a detective who was not tortured but just into a new relationship with it developing. It worked so well.

I have very much enjoyed both books and hope there are more to follow. It is so refreshing to have a detective who is happy in her private life with partner and cat! Love the characters, the storylines and the narrator. Narrator reads Sheridan perfectly- Lovely Liverpool accent

I loved the first book and had high hopes for the second - and I was not disappointed. Great characters and a story that draws you in immediately with twists and turns along the way. Very satisfying - I'm now looking forward to the next one!
