About this listen
The Way We Thunk is the much anticipated follow-up to the 2018 best-seller Meeting Mungo Thunk—a novel that's attracted many thousands of loyal fans and five-star reviews. Now, Mungo Thunk is back, and he's quirkier than ever....
They say that pessimists are rarely disappointed, and that’s a view Jake Mason wholeheartedly embraces. Therefore, it comes as no great surprise when misfortune visits him three times in just a few months, leaving Jake at his lowest-ever.
As his pessimism takes hold, Jake concludes that he’s failed miserably at life. He then finds himself alone on a railway bridge late one evening, and for a moment, considers an unthinkable solution to his problems. He’s still weighing up the pros and cons of that solution when a random stranger happens to pass by.
That stranger introduces himself as Mungo Thunk, and noting Jake’s solemn mood, the odd little man suggests he might be able to help, being he’s an expert on fixing broken minds.
From that moment onwards, Jake becomes a reluctant passenger on a journey that won’t just change his thinking, but his entire life.

Are we Thunking now?
Great book.
Mango's voice is as annoying as ever but hey, what are you going to do..?
Him and Clement could meet one day. Imagine what that would do to the cosmos!?

Great sequel
I love all of Keith’s books and this was no different. The first Mungo Thunk book was great and definitely worth reading first, though it’s not important to this story.
Great sentiments throughout and not obvious at all. Can’t wait for Thunk Three!

most annoying narrative ever
Great story even if it shares a lot of content with the 1st book ......but the most annoying narrator ever.....almost returned it just for that reason 😑

Great Read!
Enjoyed it as much as the first one although the storyline & thread seem vastly in the same vein as book one & has a similar vibe to book one. Still enjoyed it though. The voice of Chloe wasn’t enjoyable ti listen to. She sounded dumb and cartoonish or like Betty from Some Mothers Do Av Em. Apart from that it was a great read and I really like the author’s voice. Was invested in the story & characters.

Good sequel, poor voice actor
Although some elements were rehashed form the first Mungo Thunk novel, there is enough here to be entertaining. Please use a different voice actor tho. Weirdly, he is good portraying the main character, but Mungo's voice is annoying and has no nuance, unlike the previous narrator. As for the female voices, not sure what he was going for, but they all sounded dim and silly. Actually, one sounds like Frank Spencer!

Great story
Disappointing narration prevented this performance from getting more than 2 stars. Sorry Keith. Whilst the story was enjoyable & there was lots to like about the way the plot unfolded, I found the character’s voices irritating. Having said that, I still found this book hugely enjoyable & recommend it highly

I want a Mungo
Liked the story, wasn’t keen on the voice used for Mungo (far too robotic and much too slow) or all the women’s voices (all sounded thick as two short planks) the voice of Jake was perfect though.
