Summary

The Time Hunters and the Spear of Fate is the third book in the best-selling Time Hunters saga.

It’s Christmas time, and Becky and Joe Mellor have returned to Bowen Hall to attend the annual GITT Christmas Party - "The Enchantment Beneath the Sea Dance". However, when the party comes to a sudden, terrifying end, they are pitched into a quest for the all-powerful Spear of Fate. So begins an electrifying adventure that leads Becky, Joe, Uncle Percy and Will to the depths of the Indian Ocean, the peaks of the Himalayas and the deserts of Ancient Egypt - battling Mummies, Yetis, and a villain that Uncle Percy describes as "the vilest monster to have ever walked the earth". The clock ticks on....

get series with history and mystery woven together

the storyline is filled with mystery and adventure. the author weaves historical facts into the plot without being dry or dragging. I recommend it for young adults who like adventures. the moving through time is skillfully accomplished by the author so even those with comprehension issues will follow easily. The narrator uses multiple voices and inflections that make it enjoyable and easy to follow the story.
