About this listen
Mostly powerless. Completely clueless.
Once, they stood next to justice. Now they're standing up for it....
When sworn protectors of Earth, the Justice Platoon, are all horribly killed, their former arch-enemies come crawling out of the woodwork. Outnumbered, outgunned, and out of options, the US Government has no choice but to activate the Sidekicks Initiative, dragging the Platoon's middle-aged ex-sidekicks out of retirement.
Now these three reluctant, out of shape former child-wonders must work together to stop the rising tide of supervillainy, avenge their former mentors' deaths, and bring the world back from the brink of destruction.
Assuming they don't kill each other first.
Featuring anaphylactic shockwaves, unexpected hippos, and an aggressive man shouting at butterflies!
Performed by Bradley Foster Smith, Christopher Walker, Tracy Lynn Olivera, David M. Jourdan, Ian Putnam, Gabriel Michael, Christopher Williams, Samantha Turret, Kelly Baskin, Wyn Delano, Rayner Gabriel, Holly Adams, Shanta Parasuraman, Ryan Carlo Dalusung, James Lewis, Nhea Durousseau, Rob McFadyen, Michael John Casey, Yasmin Tuazon, Ken Jackson, Matthew Pauli, Nora Achrati, Karen Novack, Eric Messner, and James Konicek.

Where's my boy Phil?
As someone who loved the book, and even more so the original audible book, I have just one question:
Why change Phil Thron as the narrator?
This is not to say the narrator is not good, but Phil brings such emotion to his delivery that as soon as I realised he was not doing the narration, I almost stopped listening.
Especially when they keep Phil as the narrator of both the original audible and dramatised "Space Team" series, I can't understand the decision to have someone else record all the narration.
Did I still enjoy it? Yes, and I think the voice acting for all the other roles was well thought out. But I'm sorry Bradley, the way you have read this out is too robotic for my liking, especially compared to the legend that is Phil Thron.
If you have not read the book, or listened to the original audible book, I would still highly recommend it. Both have fun little extras at the end, and anything that can make you cry with laughter in a public place is worth giving a try (provided it is legal to do in the country you reside in).
