Very useful guide

Stress is so prevalent in all our lives. I like that this guide was empathetic but also practical.

The burnout relief I needed

Like millions of other people, the pandemic has left me feeling burnt out. It's starting to show that I wasn't coping with my stress very effectively. I was far along in the stages that the author describes, and I didn't even realize it. This book gives you the tools not only to gauge where your at in dealing with your stress but how to approach it. I can tell this book was written by someone who really cares. Thank you so much for the relief!

Such a Great Resource

I highly recommend this audiobook! Stress is so often overlooked and ignored by co-workers, family, and friends. The causes may vary but the long-term effects of stress can be devastating. The book is very well written and researched to identify the signs of stress and ways cope. This is a must listen.

Perfect stress detox & body + mind reset

I'm really glad I gave this a listen after reading the eBook. I was already quite aware of the reasons that lead us to burnout, but dealing with these issues in a practical way has always been challenging. This book offers a range of practical tools such as journaling prompts and breath work techniques, as well as sustainable practices to change your mindset and perspective when it comes to productivity and respecting your own boundaries. The audiobook definitely acts as a reassuring companion to assist in navigating the ups and downs of life-induced stress.

Breaking free from the stress cycle

Stress and burnout are likely two of the most widely spread symptoms in today's society but yet so misjudged and mistreated. Many go through decades of living with severe levels of stress without realising the harmful impact it is having on one's life and health. Merilu Hill did a tremendous job in discussing everything one needs to know to diagnose stress and burnout, the signs to look out for, common symptoms, major causes, and the various stages of the burnout experience. Fantastic resource, highly recommend!

How To Fight and Win the Battle Against Stress

From the second page of the introduction, it felt like this book was telling my story - one that includes pressure, pushing on, and burnout. I started crying as it became evident that the author not only knows, but cares what it it is like to face burnout and "stress our health away." But don't worry, she doesn't just identify our tendencies and challenges, she provides tools and hope to manage stress, care for our health, and avoid burnout. Every woman would benefit from reading this insightful, inspirational, and information-packed book!

Sometimes stress management techniques are talked about in a way that stresses me out even more. Thankfully this book is different! By the time I finished listening to The Secrets of Stress Management, I actually felt less stressed. Not only that, a sense of energy was awakened, motivating me to start taking specific steps and trying suggested exercises, like "the stress bucket exercise," which I think is going to make a big difference in both my routine and perspective.

Very practical book!

I love the way the author approaches solutions to stress. We all fall into the trap of getting stressed out and sometimes we don't even notice how stressed we really are which is why its a good idea to have a plan and recognizing you need to reduce your stress levels. Make sure to listen to the chapter on creating a daily relaxation plan since I thought this was rather unique special.

This is a delight!

During the dark and cold winter months of the year, life becomes more stressful, and harder to bare than in the warmer seasons. I find that this is the time where most people start to burnout and become depressed. Everyone has some sort of stress in there life, and knowing how to manage it is very important. This book teaches how to identify your sources of stress and how to work through them with exercise. Using this audiobook as a guide, you can start to take steps towards a stress free lifestyle by implementing the lessons taught here. Great resource and easy to follow along.
