However, Queen Latifah has always been a shining example of a woman happy with herself and unwilling to compromise to fit into the "hollywood ideal" of what a confident beautiful woman should look like.

What is it really like to be a housewife? We all want to know, but only the women we love to watch and the people who make the show have the whole story. Well, listen in close, because they’re about to tell all. Nearly all the wives, producers, and network executives, as well as Andy Cohen himself, are on the record, unfiltered and unvarnished about what it really takes to have a tagline. This is your VIP pass to the lives behind the glam squads, testimonials, and tabloid feuds. Life’s not all diamonds and rosé, but the truth is so much better, isn’t it?

Summary
In this remarkable memoir - written with Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Buzz Bissinger during her pivotal first years of rebirth - Caitlyn Jenner reflects on her past as she looks to her future. With poignancy and humour, Caitlyn writes about her confusion growing up, the temporary triumph of the Olympics as Bruce Jenner, and the noose of being endlessly described as the ultimate in manhood. She reveals her sense of shame and deceit she felt as she got older, as she went to great lengths to tell lies to conceal her true self. She also delves into her life in the public eye, her marriages and her troubled relationships with her children, what led to her decision to become Caitlyn, and how the transgender community and the world has embraced her new life. Written with a searing honesty, this audiobook shows you the real and true Caitlyn.

Read this and learn about life long challenges
Would you listen to The Secrets of My Life again? Why?
Caitlyn reveals facts about her life that really no-one has the right to know. This is an amazing story, until you realise is is not a story, it is a revealing real life experience. I am sure re-reading will give an even better perspective of Caitlyn's life.
Who was your favorite character and why?
The main character in this book is Caitlyn without ignoring Bruce. Everyone else are almost reduced to bit characters, even though some of Caitlyn's supporters are clearly extremely important people in her life
Which scene did you most enjoy?
The moment when Caitlyn (still Bruce at that point) was contacted by the gossip magazine, the editor's main purpose appeared to be to humiliate the subject of his article. What a terrible society we live in that gets pleasure from the suffering of others. It must have been so difficult for Caitlyn or anyone else in that position.
Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
You can both laugh and cry at this book. The torment of a younger Bruce eventually arrives at the release of the Woman inside, which takes you on an emotional journey from sadness to joy.
Any additional comments?
Oscar Wilde was quoted as saying "Be yourself, everyone else is already taken" Caitlyn's journey shows that this is easier said than done, why? Unfortunately because of the pressures of society and human nature which doesn't like anything outside of the "norm". If this book helps one person to be more tolerant, accepting or understanding it has succeeded. Unfortunately it is unlikely that those who show signs of prejudice will read this book, shame.Caitlyn is very personal in this book and I am sure the pain and distress that she describes so well has also been experienced by too many others, not necessarily just the anguish of being Trans*.Personal and well narrated.

Interesting Book it has some Tea. (Gossip)
A Good book, Very Interesting I would never understand how Bruce now Caitlyn Jenner felt because I don't have the same problem with my identity, So I would never understand how a Transgender person feels but listening to Caitlyn was eye opening we all deserve to be happy in our own skin and she wasn't. I do think some of the things Caitlyn said about Kris was harsh she didn't say anything bad but it sounds like she regrets marrying Kris and only married her because of the Children. Otherwise it's a great touching book.

Freedom!! Absolutely fun and informative reading!
That's my favourite word - Freedom. However, just like any human being I can be very judgemental. I'm usually a free minded person, so much so that it can even bother others. I do think everyone have the right to live their lives the way they want as far as they don't harm themselves in any way. I "met" Bruce Jenner over the quarantine when I was tired of watching the news and getting scared of what is going on in the world. I never watch TV if I'm not learning something from it but because I needed not to think of anything, for some reason the Kardashians seemed a great idea. I started with season 1 and started getting confused on why Bruce suddenly decided to be a woman. "A man that was so macho and a great father, why? why?" I kept asking myself and that led me to this book. Caitlyn, I'm sorry you went through so much to finally get to leave the life you wanted after so many years. I think you are definitely lucky to have the opportunity that many don't have, I mean the financial means, and I'm happy for you that you are finally living YOUR life and not everybody else's. To all those people that go through this same issues, I can only say I hope and pray you can find yourselves living your lives sooner than later.
I can just say that this book was very informative and reminded me of an old lesson, never judged, look for facts.
I would like to point out that in the beginning of the audio I didn't like much the readers' voice and wish Caitlyn was reading it. That was just the first 2, maybe 3 first chapters. After that either the reader was more comfortable reading the book or I was so into the book that I enjoyed every voice she made, every "voice expression" , it was just so much fun. I literally couldn't put the earphones down and even earned a "marathon reader badge" saying that if it was my shoes I had "worn them out today alone".
Really enjoyed this book and definitely I'm a bit more informed about issues I once found myself judging or not being comfortable with.
Amazing book, well written and well read!!
