Summary

With the Reign of Terror at its peak, and the death toll mounting, France's violent revolutionists suddenly find themselves frustrated by a mysterious vigilante. exciting, thrilling and beautifully romantic

I read this first as a child in school, loved it then, love the narrated version now. characters you care about, and a perfect adventure with a satisfying end. historically brilliant . I thought the narration was perfect.
