Summary

The Sacred Hearts Motorcycle Club is about more than just badass bikers. It’s about loyalty and brotherhood. When the men of SMHC find love, the club celebrates. When they hurt, their brothers hurt with them. And when someone crosses them…watch out.

Shattered & Scarred - She’s living in a hell and is shattered by violence, Trigger, a scarred veteran, is on his way home. When their paths cross, neither will ever be the same. But is that such a bad thing?

Broken & Burned - Dray was broken the day his mother was shot down in front of him, and Evy’s been burned in one of the worst ways possible. When these two come together they seal and soothe each other’s pain. Chances are sometimes worth taking.

Cracked & Crushed - Crushed on her wedding day after she was left at the altar, Hayden simply can’t take any more. Lucky for her, Reaver is there for the rescue. But can she handle his cracked psyche, or will they both implode?

You’re invited to live, love, and ride with the SHMC.

Narrative not so good!!

Good storyline. but the narration was very difficult to listen to and the music and over long purse between each chapter was very off putting.

it might be a good story but

after EVERY CHAPTER, there announce the title of the book, the chapter number and the play a bit of music. Destroys the flow of the book.

Could not listen

I just could not get into this narrator. He sounded like he was 101 years old. Nothing exciting or sexy. I will attempt to read the stories, but listening was an absolute no go.

Narration

I loved the story but had to stop listening. The narrators should have been reading children's books. The overly dramatic lady and the uber laid back gentleman took too much away from the story line. Just couldn't do it.

Loved the Story, the F Narration was challenging

I love these stories so much that even though I have Audible Escape, I purchased the set. The male narrators voice sounded a bit older than what I was expecting but if you get past the sound, his narration was wonderful. He did a great job with the inflections and differentiating the characters. The female narrator was the opposite, her voice sounds very nice but her inflections were awful. Her only means of expressing emotion was to raise her voice. She had two modes, reading the lines or pure panic. No other emotional inflection. I would rate Jackson Hunter as wonderful as he is a very good narrator, just the sound of his voice didn't fit the character which is not his fault. The female narrator I would rate as 1 star - no talent, just a nice voice.

The narrators were not my favorite

The male narrator really sounds like an old Santa Clause. It really was disappointing but I stuck with it the first couple hours and got use to it. The story was great.

Worst narration ever

I just can't listen to it anymore. I tried I like can't get through it, the narration is terrible. These characters are young and it sounds like an old man is reading the male parts. I loved the books, but this is terrible.

Did not like the male voice.

The male voice sounded like an old man. Did not sound like the voice of a sexy biker. He sounded like an old mountain man.

Stories are good, but narration leaves a lot to be desired...

There’s no way this male narrator reflects a 30 something hunk. He sounds like an 80 year old southern grandfather. He’s distracting. And why do we need the music and the book and chapter announcements. Also very distracting, making it hard to really get into the story. I may go to Kindle on these books.

Struggled to finish the series

The story line was good but the narration was just awful and made it hard to keep interest. The third book the narration got alittle more tolerable but by then I was on the struggle bus
