Surface level

Very surface level and quite god focused. Some good points but not enough depth to the book.

Such a beautiful book ❤️

I absolutely loved this book. Matthew Kelly has a wonderful way of intertwining his experiences along with our greatest past teachers to create a masterpiece on the rhythm of life and our purpose in it. I actually cried at the end! I think everyone should have this book and share it with their loved ones so that they too can become the best versions of themselves.

Intriguing title but disappointing

There were some good moments, but for the most part there were too many rhetorical questions and it felt more like a patronising speech than motivational book.

A positive contribution

This book has some little gems of advice but its extremely repetitive in places and needs some reformating/rewriting. I found myself wondering how many times "the best version of yourself" was mentioned, a little frustrating to keep hearing the same terminology but overall, contains some great advice and ideas.

Nice ideas but hard work

The principle behind this book is great but it is very repetitive and difficult to listen to.

Not completely in line with book, but still worth every penny

This audible book has a couple parts skipped from the actual book. And it also have 1 whole 50 minute segment repeated. I still give it 5 stars. Great message and I would recommend this to anyone

Abridged audiobook, outdated, or missing content

I'm loving this book, and prefer listening over reading my books, but I'm finding that this audiobook is missing large amounts of content from the actual book.
Is this an abridged audiobook? (It's certainly not unabridged).
Is this audio from an older version of the book? (that would make sense for missing content)
I hope this audio gets a refresh (somehow) that contains all the book content. (Reading another review, I'm concerned that an entire chapter is repeated? That sounds very sloppy for an audiobook, I hope that's not the case... I'm still listening to this)

READ THIS NOW

WOW!!!!! to every human struggle that Kelly discusses it is always followed by a reasonable and doable solution (I.e. commit to working out 1x/week; commit to reading 10minutes/day; RELAX on Sunday by going through old photos, spending time with someone you haven't seen for a while). I would also recommend Mark Mansons the subtle art of not giving a f*ck as both authors held similar perspectives for many topics!

First sentence was the best.

Everything after that either supports it or regurgitates the theme. Good confirmation but not eye opening.

UhMazing

I think this book should be assigned to every baby when it is born and read once per year, to and by, every human. No matter your religious belief, these are simply straight forward irrefutable facts of life. I have always detested the victim of life way of thinking and living. This book calls it as it sees it. Unarguably. I consider myself to be highly analytical and cautious of "theory." None of this was theory. It simply is how life works, or doesn't. It's your choice. Always is, always was.

Amazing book!

Great book for those who want to become best version of themselves.
I was disappointed that the narrator did not read the book in it's entirety but skipped chunks of chapters and whole chapters themselves which I then had to go back and read myself after the fact.

Was good until the religion part started

I just couldn't get past it and listen to anymore. It's fine for those who are, but it's not what I wanted at all. It was a good book until that point but just not for me.
