So many twists and turns, you could almost see where the author was leading you to but the ending was so shocking I wanted more!! Brilliant book highly recommend.

This was a rollercoaster of a story which should have been clear cut if there hadn’t been so many twists and turns of the bad and ugly and the heroes and monsters. It’s weird how one can dislike a story of the characters and still get glued and fascinated until the end.

Brilliant ending

This was my first book by this author, and I found it a bit slow to get going but the pace did pick up and once I got into it I found it interetsing and intriguing. I felt the character of Abi was really well written and I felt for her as she searched for her missing child. There are twists and turns and red herrings but final plot twist came out of nowhere and absolutely floored me!

The performance was a bit on the flat side, but maybe the ordinariness of the tone was right. And belied the way the tale unfolded. I love not being able to predict

If you like your thrillers dark, shocking and twisty then this is definitely for you. I loved the style of writing,so compelling and clever. Very well fleshed out characters and plot but not at the expense of pace. An absolute page turner. I’d highly recommend this one.
