About this listen
She's moved on.
Three years after her fiancé was murdered, Gemma Morgan is, at last, starting to move on with her life.
He's long gone.
But just as she thinks everything is back on track, she realises the new man in her life seems to be hiding something big from her. Gemma’s hurled right back into her pit of despair, but is it just paranoia playing tricks on her?
Or is he?
Only this time, it isn’t grief that consumes her – it’s fearing for her life.
A pacy and gripping story with a chilling twist, perfect for fans of My Lovely Wife, The Wedding Day and The Other Woman.
©2024 Ali Blood (P)2024 HarperCollins PublishersBut the title was very intriguing. What I expected was this charismatic guy that manipulated 2 women and I was so looking forward to see the outcome.
What a big surprise it was for me that the title is very misleading and it took a while to see that there’s nothing like the title suggests.
I don’t know how to put it but the beginning of relationships and the word fiancé attract me more than to listen, yet again how relationships ends.
I’m still puzzled why that title was given to that book.
Who is the fiancée ?
