Summary

When Lucy Weber is forced to leave the orphan train and is offered up to any man who'd have her in Saddle, Texas, she doesn't know what to do. The last thing she wants is a husband, especially not leering Clem Toeger.

Garrett Black didn't mean to find himself a wife. He was perfectly satisfied running his ranch on his own. But when a frightened girl is offered up to anyone who wanted her, he can't abide the thought of her being hitched to Clem Toeger, a man with questionable integrity and the only candidate.

Will this unlikely couple have a chance at love?

Christian Historical Romance

Christian Historical Romance

I really enjoyed this story and the narration! I've never actually heard a narrator use multiple voices when the book read, "they spoke in unison" and similar situations where multiple people said things at the same time. I was impressed!
I don't know if a 5 yr old would communicate as well as Joan, but I couldn't find any flaws with the rest of the book or the narration! I wold love to read about her twin's story! Is Sam's story going be available on audio soon?

Just don't

I hate giving bad reviews, but this book went nowhere. No chemistry, no real story, no anything.

Trust God with the desires of your heart

In the olden days, orphaned children were put on the" Orphan Train" to find new families in the west. Unfortunateky not all children find good homes. Some are forced to become laborers and some are required to marry someone they do not know while others are just not adoptable. Follow Lucy on her journey on the Orphan Train. A great, shorter read. Enjoy!!

Great!

I am a believer of , if things are suppose to happen they will and they happen at the right time. This story is that. I thought it was great. I loved the unique story . I listened to this on audio and loved the narrator as well.

Wonderful

Loved this book! Prince charming comes to the rescue and saves not one but two damsels in distress.
