A bit drab

The usual sparkiness of Paige Toon's heroines is missing. There are also few visual cues. But it is the minor key, verging on depressing, style of the reader that made it really hard work. I upped the speed to x1.25 to inject some life into it.

Okay

It was okay but a bit slow to get into and then comes to a dead stop.

I was never able to get into this book.

I finished this book but it took me months and I never really cared about the characters which is a shame.

Not the best from Paige Toon

Not the best from Paige Toon. Took a while to get into as the two thirds were pretty slow. Found the narrator a bit monotone for a fair bit of the book, which I found irritated and bored me. Halfway through, I was wanting the book to hurry up and finish, so I could try a different one!

Nice enough story

Sweet story but a bit rambling at points and I found the narrator quite patchy. Particularly with any accents. The male narrator in the first chapter nearly made me return the book straight away but luckily he didn’t feature again.

Fall in love with this book

Was beautifully written as it takes you on a journey with each sister and intertwines the stories illustrating the lives of young to old love

Very clever writing, tricky in places to follow

Wonderful story, engaging story to follow. Be warned the same narrator covers the roles of triplets! Her accents are very good and overall it was ok to listen, especially as the chapters followed each sister and you got used to it. Although definitely needed to concentrate more than the average listen.
Lots of twists, more excellent writing from Paige.
