Great listen!
Great introduction into Hemingway. Will look to read more after this and easy to get through on a lazy afternoon.

Timeless
Charming story with powerful, simple language.
It feels like you are in the boat with Santiago sharing his struggle. The narration is too fast at times for my liking.

2 hours but it's worth your credit
It's my first time reading Hemmingway. This matter of fact style is really something. And I can't imagine this being read better by anyone, what a fantastic performance.

Timeless
Such a beautiful story and the narration by Donald Sutherland is near perfect. I didn't want it to end. Best few hours you will spend in a long while.

Very captivating
Kept me interested all the way through. With only a couple of characters a great listen.

An all-time classic
Such a simple story told beautifully and wonderfully narrated. One to cherish. Why 15 words? My comments are more than adequate to review this. Don't think I'll bother reviewing anymore to be honest.

a classic for a reason
not much of a fan of Ernest Hemingway, but tried this book and listened to the whole story in a single sitting. The voice of Donald Sutherland is a perfect complement to a bitter sweet tale

Well read...
Who reads an audiobook can be make or break for me. A nice relaxing book although the bulk of the story is an epic battle. It’s only around 3hrs, perfect maybe for travel to pass the time. An engaging story well narrated.

Sad and beautiful
This Story is wonderful to read, but when heard, specially with Donald's deep and sonorous voice, it becomes something amazing.
His performance is magnificent and transform the story into something magical.
