Lovely
This was a really lovely book and I will play this for my young nieces. I think it’s really nice to listen to, and is very uplifting. It’s kind of like if A Christmas Carol meets the Magic Porridge Pot meets Rumpelstiltskin

Lovely
What a lovely little story, a bit of a cheerful Dickens vibe. Really sweet.

Something for the little ones...
A small story of trial and tribulation set during Christmas but could be listened to all year round. it wasn't to bad, not for me, but if you have kids this could be a nice little listen with them. Ultimately I'm glad it was free via Audible Plus.

Narrator can’t even say the name of author properly
TERRIBLE ENGLISH NARRATION BY ENGLISH ACTOR.
The horrible narration is a serious disservice to the author.
Actor reads Portuguese names as if it was Spanish.
English people ALWAYS behave like English people. Ignorance is what can be expected, but not accepted!
I hope the actor didn’t get paid.

Short, sweet and uplifting.
There’s nothing not to like and definitely worth 5 minutes of your life. A positive if somewhat well known tale.

Not up to Coelho’s usual standard
A disappointing listen compared to his other novels. Not worth the download in my opinion.
