Summary
From YouTube star vlogger Connor Franta comes an audiobook that grows out of his massive social media outreach - filled with annotated postcards, notes, texts, tweets, journal entries, emails, and letters that chart his coming of age.
The front of the postcards feature his photos, both of himself and the things that inspire him, with the back answering questions from fans or relating anecdotes about the things that drive and influence him. Listened to from start to finish, the book tells a coherent narrative about Connor's coming of age and becoming an adult and the ups and downs that are a part of that. From bullying to dating to leaving home, this is an inspirational book for fans who are growing up and establishing their individuality. The various modes of communication in the book also reflect changes in Connor's own use of technology over the last several years.
A cross between an essay collection and a coming-of-age memoir, told in brief, the book is divided into sections, each beginning with a short introduction about what's affected Connor growing up. For example, a section on family begins with a short piece on Connor's family and what he's learned from them, so that his fans can get a greater insight into his life and learn something from it.

Connor could never disappoint me!
Connor has always managed to grab my attention whether it was a YouTube video, tweet, book or people talking about him. I look up to him and aim to be happy and successful as him no matter what I do. He never fails to make me listen and feel understood. Brilliant Book!

Inspirational and humbling!
I love Connor Franta from his videos, and listening to him recount his story up till now makes me love him even more!
His passion for the creative arts is really beautiful, and as a creative person myself I received a lot of advice and inspiration in this book. I laughed out loud at his many anecdotes about family life, life experiences and just life itself. I learned a lot more about him and his journey to find himself, and the struggles he overcame along the way. It's really humbling to realize that the outgoing boy whom we see on YouTube every Monday is actually quite shy and socially awkward like the rest of us, and to me he makes himself more approachable that way. And no Connor, I've seriously never noticed that bump on your forehead, honest :)
Lastly, it makes me so happy to hear Connor's voice reading his book to me, and I love it so much.
Overall, this is a good book to read if you like Connor Franta, or are a creative person who wants to know about this fellow creative person who just so happens to have a wide YouTube audience whom he shares his work with. Two thumbs up! 👍👍

Amazing
Connor's book is absolutely fantastic, and how he read it in this audio book made it even better. He gets really deep and philosophical, and has inspired me to do so much more. I really enjoyed this and I'm going to recommend it to many people.
As Connor said, life doesn't wait.

The best book EVER!!
This book is inspirational and just gives you all the feels. I wanted to listen to connor read the story because it would be like a really long youtube video

Inspiring and Raw
I had no idea how much a simple book written by my role modle and inspiration (and favourite youtuber) could inspire me to go out an chase my dreams - even if i am 16 years old. The only this i can say is this book is raw and inspiring, and most - it speaks the truth.
