As the mist from his smoking gun fades, listeners are left with an unexpected portrait of a stoic philosopher with a wealth of charm, a glorious turn of phrase, and a fanatical devotion to his daughter.

To make matters worse a large part of the end of the book is given over to Two Tony's 'philosophy', which is basically a tedious ramble from a quasi intellectual who clearly has too much time on his hands.
The narration is not great either. Virtually every sentence finishes in the same elevated tone which grates somewhat.
I loved Shaun Attwood's books on the Colombian cartels and the war on drugs but this was not in the same class.
