As a serial listener, I occasionally have one or two audiobooks going, at one time. This time, I put down the one I had started, to finish this.
It had me at the first sentence and I could not stop myself. Finished it in a day. It was that good.

This series really challenges my socialist philosophy, the simplistic acquisition of wealth and property is shamelessly portrayed by the author with humour and suspense. Claire has captured the characters perfectly and I can’t wait for more.

I think this is one of the best audiobooks by KT Ashbourne. Usually I can guess who the villain is. Not in this one, and Gretchen giving birth was like" what" and for it to be twins. I never thought about it. I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook.
