A tremendously enjoyable finale
I waited months for this final instalment of the trilogy. I was not disappointed. I laughed, cried, gasped and could not wait to drive to and from work each day to listen to my book. I know nothing of these Greek myths and my eyes have been opened through this trilogy. Thank you, Claire North!

Outstanding book in an outstanding series
The final book in a thrilling series re-telling the story of Odysseus from the view point of goddesses, Queen Penelope and the women of Ithaca. The storytelling is simply masterful and evokes such vivid imagery that at times you share the horror of war and the delight of a well laid plan. The narrator does an incredible job sharing the work of Claire North and I highly recommend this book and the series to anyone and everyone. Absolutely loved it. Heartbroken it is complete! Outstanding

everything you could have dreamt of
everything The story of what Penolope went through during the twenty long years her husband was fighting or galvanising had long been a fascination. to me.
l fell on this trilogy like an all you can eat literary banquet. Three. Three astonishing stories. the best was when they arrived. The worst was
when l finished them.
Buy all three because you just won't be able to wait even the time a purchase takes.

Absolutely loved this book!
Now this book is finished I feel at a loss. The writing is true perfection- poetry almost. In fact, at times I was in absolute awe of the author, who is an artist with words and the performance is pure magic too. It is beautifully read. Without doubt, this is one of the very best audio books I have ever listened to. Perfection in all regards. A magical story told so very beautifully by a very talented author and presented by an equally brilliant actress. It is def a 10/10 from me. An amazing end to a remarkable story that has lived out the test of time. X

Did not disappoint
Strong female voice - relatable from a woman’s POV. Loved that it was narrated by Athena. I listened to this in Kefalonia. The perfect setting!
