One day ago...

When Rebekah Murphy was three, her mother walked out of their childhood home and never returned. Nearly four decades on, Fiona Murphy is still missing.
But then, out of the blue, a letter arrives in the post.
It says it's from Fiona.
What is the connection?
Missing persons investigator David Raker is hired by Rebekah to find out if the letter is actually from Fiona - and, if it isn't, why someone would pretend to be her.
But this is a mystery whose secrets were never meant to be found.
And as Raker starts to connect the dots from Fiona to the Brenners, he begins to realise he can't trust anyone - even the people closest to him...

5 ⭐️ Raker is back 😊
My first ever audio book was a new discovery, a David Raker novel. I loved it so much I listened from the 1st novel up to date & I wait every year for a new one and I am never disappointed. So often I read a good book and then the author does a series which becomes tedious and boring, not DR though, Thanks Tim another winner and great narration too

Another hit.
After this, looking forward to future books. I can't really fault the story line and my main thought after reading all the David Raker books is .. No-one is a bad guy in their own story.

Just finished listening to the latest David Raker book....it was simply brilliant.

I don’t think any words I can say can do justice to the quality of the story and the fabulous way it was narrated. Tim Weaver thank you for another amazing book, had me hooked straight away and the ending almost had me in tears. Can’t wait for the next David Raker episode

Complex and satisfying
Tim Weaver’s books never fail
To intrigue and fascinate. Unputdownable. What an imagination! Characters always believable . Excellent narration as ever, especially of Raker himself - like an old friend .
