A perfect marriage of two worlds

A perfect marriage of two worlds, the Ton and the Gifted. Combining aristocratic manners and starch with the freedom and artistic powers of the gifted. Creating a world similar in concept to Professor X’s School for the Gifted. Julian takes care and control over a League of gifted souls, protecting them. Together with a merry group of friends, they create a home where these lost souls have the freedom to be themselves without censure. When Julian admitted that he was “a daft prick like most men”, no truer statement have I heard. This story is a journey of discovery, discovery of self-control and self-awareness more than any. The singular discovery, that of Julian’s emotions! These two are made of the same cloth, the other half of each soul! The hand flex of insecurity, beautifully pictured as images of Darcy flow to mind. The love match of Piper and Julian is pure explosive magic! Julian carrying her brooch with him since the first day they met was the sweetest.😍 The love token, perfected by Sumner, that I search for in every romance. I thoroughly enjoyed this step out of the ordinary, the paranormal twist being just the escape needed to take this romance to the next level.
