Summary

This battle shall reach its inevitable conclusion—and the final triumph will belong to Doctor Undying!

I changed the face of the world, creating a paradise for superhumans. All it took was throwing a fight and spending 40 years in jail. That was a small price to pay as an immortal. But now that I’m out on parole I fully intend on enjoying the world I created.

When the parole board stuck me in a scared straight mentorship program, I decided to turn the tables against them. I would teach the two beautiful, badass women in my care not to be repentant heroes or good citizens, but instead, I would help them become true supervillains. Under my tutelage, I would see them rise to become world-shaking terrors!

Of course, no plans go off without a hitch. Some fool decided to steal my archive of mad doomsday weapons and turn them against me. But no matter! With my villainesses beside me, I will strike horrible vengeance upon them.

Let the world tremble, for Doctor Undying has returned!

When time is not an obstacle

At my request I received a copy of this audiobook in order to give a fair and unbiased review.

Genre: Immortal super villain Scifi harem
Power dynamics in harem: The MC is desired, respected and deferred to by his girls, so he calls the shots.
Explicit/adult material: Explicit.

Summary:
Immortal and previously the supervillain leading the para-human rebellion, Doctor Undying is up for parole.
When one of the terms of his release is mentoring young early-criminals back to the path of virtue our dear doctor has his own plans for the direction of his mentoring.
As he is mentoring his 2 hot, smart protegees towards a not-so-legal path his past comes back to mess with him.

Narration
Voice diversity: Good. Characters are easy to recognise from their voice.
Pacing and intonation: Where the narration really shines. The storytelling is superb.
Sex scenes: Well done.
Matt Hicks is becoming my favourite male narrator and Erin Bateman is a seasoned narrator and it shows.
Overall Narration: 5/5 stars.

The book’s strengths.
- The premise of a villain mastermind that is not evil-insane, but "make the hard choices" morally grey
- The premise of an extremely powerful MC who helps his harem grow
- The attraction from the girls to the MC feels natural and though it progresses
- The writing is fun and has many cool references throughout.
- The narration

The book’s weaknesses.
- Could also be considered a strength: A lot of girls (5) are introduced already in the first book. They are not all harem yet, and they are all very different. But for me that is too fast.

Really good first volume.

This is the first audiobook I have listened to from M.E. Thorne and thoroughly enjoyed the story and look forward to the next installment.

Doctor Undying is a famous immortal superhero who is released from jail after 40 years only to be thrust into a conspiracy originating from a drunken night between to friends. Because of his unique power of immortality his doesn't age an injured or killed disappears and reappears a short distance away, Because of his immortality he has a swagger about him which makes him a really fun MC to follows as he allows time to go by whilst having fun whilst have a strong conviction on how the future should look.

Great performance from Matt Hicks, & Erin Bateman, I have listened to many of Erin's other work and she is excellent as always and though Matt really embraced his role as Doctor Undying that you could tell he was having a lot of fun with the character then he stole the show

Great start

the story is very well written. the MC plays games qirh the world government from the shadows, controlling people and making events happen rather than go in a fight loud and stupid. The two women are amazing with great characteristics. Really enjoying the story so far.

great story

the story's great but all the erotic scenes could have been left out and it wouldn't have hurt the story AT ALL. Or it could have been mentioned that you could just fast forward to the next chapter since all the waste was at the end of a chapter. But overall spectacular storytelling.

Really good beginning

This story really caught me by surprise with how good it was. M.E. Thorne wrote an absolute gem with this book and I hope it continues throughout the series. There really arent many antihero stories out there in this genre and Im really glad this one was as good as it was. The story background, growth and characters was amazing. I will we waiting eagerly for book2 of this series.

The narration by Matt Hicks and Erin Bateman was great. They did a fantastic job with the story telling and all the character voices.

quite enjoyable

mt first step into the superpowers side of the fantasy genre and I gotta say I liked it. there are adult tunes of course but they are not the focus of the story and take a backseat to a fun villian that you can for for sure agree with.

A unique and engaging story!

The Immortal's Guide to Supervillainy is a fun and unique adventure by M.E. Thorne. I loved the unique route this book took and look forward to the next in the series and/or whatever M.E. Thorne has for us next! Audio Version: Matt Hicks and Erin Bateman, both great narrators seperately, and absolutely amazing together! Loved this production.

Another awesome book by M.E. Thorne!

I loved the Dark Lord's Command books and wasn't in the least disappointed in this one. I'm looking forward to more adventures from these characters in the future.

Great story!

Love me a good ’Gray Zone’ type of MC that treads the true path of doing the right thing no matter the cost, and this one hit the correct button for me! Well done!
