Really disappointed as I was enjoying this story. It finished so abruptly that I thought there must be a problem with the recording but it seems not- just a really poor ending, even for a series.

Bit disappointed. Started off well. I ended up bored after half way thru but finished it anyway. A poor 3 stars overall 🌟🌟🌟and sadly,won’t be getting any more by this author. Just not for me.

...but I agree with other reviewers about the ending; it feels a bit as though the author suddenly realised she could get another whole book out of it if she stopped where she was.
Narration is fine, though, Emma Powell always does a good, sympathetic reading.

The story just stopped. I double checked and couldn’t find any more, felt like half a book. Wouldn’t bother with the rest of the trilogy
