Summary
Niko Raydon is a hunter and has been summoned to a small gypsy village on the night of their annual matching celebration. He senses the use of dark magic and is intent on capturing the user until his eyes fall on Oralia Simone. He is at once smitten with the beautiful gypsy as he watches her dance around the bonfire - everything about her calls to him, and he finds himself coming down the mountain into the village to get a better look at her.
Oralia Simone just turned 18 and finds herself betrothed to a man whom she does not love. Despite her resistance to the arranged marriage, she reluctantly accepts her duty as a gypsy - she will marry Tobias McGrath and hopes she will one day fall in love with him.
As Niko stealthily joins the band of gypsies, he discovers Oralia has been promised to Tobias McGrath - his primary reason for being there. When Tobias uses his dark magic on Oralia, Niko has decided he has gone too far. Niko takes Oralia back to his realm to keep her safe as all-out war is waged against Tobias for the love of a gypsy dancer.
