Summary

Detective Inspector Ron Scott of Police Scotland is faced with a series of murders on his patch. Based at Greenock police station in Inverclyde, Scott and his team are seeking a murderer who has been given the title "The Gardener" since his victims were being killed by common gardening tools. To add to their caseload, a four-year-old girl has been kidnapped from a shopping mall.

Good first novel

This is an excellent introduction to the Scott’s Law series introducing DC Ron Scott and his team from Police Scotland, Greenock division. My only criticism is that a few chapters are a bit long and the book could have been spilt into more chapters. No doubt Callum will learn from this and keep chapters much shorter.
