Very enjoyable

Only problem with this audio book, is that it had to end. One story had "Raffles the gentleman thief". Would love to hear more of their clashing encounters. Audio book well recommend.

Good effort

There are some good stories & performances if you can see past the negatives. The attempted accents in some cases are laughable & the pronunciations of place names at times is enough to make me cringe. However, some of the stories are decent & the performances in general are of a good pace. At close to 9 hours in length you get lots of short stories & obviously some will be better than others. All in all this is an enjoyable Sherlock Holmes experience.

Absolutely Fabulous. can't put this Audiobook down

I absolutely love Sherlock Holmes. I listen to this almost every night, I've lost count how many times I've listened to this selection of episodes. I set the speed to o.95x and I set up the option for my phone to go to sleep. Audible, everything works just perfect 5*****++ every-time. Thank you. Love this App.

American Sherlock?!

Great fun these short stories, but the cast has to work so hard to suppress American accents (and slightly fail), that it becomes a bit distracting... Shame they didn’t use English actors!

Awful

This is truly terrible. American actors with dreadful attempts at English accents. Rubbish plots. Poor performances. Where are you standards, Audible?

Not to be entertained If you value the original

There have been many interpretations , this is the weakest and I could listen to no more.

Hard on the ears!

This is one of the worst productions of Sherlock I have heard. At least a 3rd of my books are Sherlock, so I feel I am in a position to critique it. Tbh, I tried to listen many times over a few months; Each time thinking that maybe i wasn’t in a Sherlock mood. I have decided this performance is not for me. will return this.

Awful

Dodgy accents are the least of it's problems. Badly acted, overly dramatic, poorly written.
