Interesting/Twisted

This is an engaging story from the start, takes a few very interesting somewhat twisted turns but is intruiging. The narrators voice/accent are quite annoying initially but then actually become endearing. Enjoyed right to the finish and will search for more by same author.

Diabolical narration spoiled good story

Just don’t get it! As an author, why would you let such a poor narrator loose on your book? And if you can’t do accents, just read the darned thing out! Real shame because it caused the characters to lose credibility.
Aside from that, the basic premise of the story was believable and consequently very disturbing.
Sadly some fundamental factual content was askew - not least of all having a social worker be the one to personally teach a child to read and write (bizarre!?!)
If you can ignore the flaws though, it’s a free read!🤷🏼‍♀️

Just goes on and on

This started off as quite a good story but my god it dragged...could have finished several chapters earlier. Every time i thought it was done, nope, some other subplot that didnt really get going. Glad i didn't pay for it. Also the welsh accent was shockingly bad.

strange story

Overall I enjoyed this book but thought that some of the plot choices were only half developed and led you in a strange direction. It was if the author thought about developing one plot line then changed her mind half way through. Lots of missed opportunities. I thought the end was very weak and ill conceived.
I didn't mind the narrator
although I know other people criticised her.

Not a bad listen

Quite an interesting one. A few plot twists that I didn’t see coming. Sad to think that some other the stories could actually happen in real life and probably have happened. It’s difficult to comment without giving too much of the story away 🙈Good story though, glad I downloaded it.
