Immersive and captivating
Having just finished listening to the final instalment of the Koli trilogy all I can do is encourage you to listen. One of the best written trilogies - perfectly balanced and paced.
This final chapter completes the threads that have been woven throughout.

Great book
I was a bit thrown by the 3 narrators in this one at first, especially as I had gotten so used to Theo and Koli’sway of talking. However I loved the story and was sad to finish the trilogy. A very good set of books well done M. R. Carey 👏🏽

Awesome
Great story, but most of all, told in a mesmerising language, brought to life by the narrators until the main protagonists feel like family. The best Audible series I've listened to so far.

A modern classic
What a journey this trilogy has been, not just for Koli, but also for those of us who have accompanied him. The story is masterfully plotted, populated with engaging characters and told beautifully. The production in this audiobook is especially good with extraordinary performances from the exceptional cast. I can’t recommend this trilogy highly enough.

Another Epic!
I really got into this trio of Koli books. I think the author has a real gift for the post apocalyptic stories. these are the books that I wish would never end. so immersive!
I've listen to The Girl with all the Gifts too and found that equally good.

An excellent trilogy
Compelling story, amazing narration. I can hear all of the characters so clearly, it took me a minute to remember that some of the key players (Cup and Ursula for example) don't have their own unique voices. I will miss the Rampart world now that the trilogy is finished

Enjoy the ride!
Sitting here crying at the end of this book, what an ending. If you have been here from the beginning, you may be shocked at Koli’s fall or, when you think about it, expecting it all along. Either way, another excellent book from MR Carey.
