About this listen
When I became an English major in college, it wasn't by default. I admitted to myself that the two things in this world that held any real, true, sustaining interest for me were reading and writing. Owning the English Major Bookstore in Midtown Memphis from 2008 to 2011 was the perfect fit for a graduated English major.
My job included reading samplings of books all day so I could be familiar with the titles on my shelves and be more helpful to the seeking reader—it was heavenly. I loved the bookstore and was sad to close it, but am sure you will enjoy the book version of the online blog from the store.
