Summary
Explore the captivating history of the Culper Ring!
Spying and warfare have always gone hand-in-hand. From Julius Caesar to modern generals, we have accounts of commanders covertly gathering information about their opponents, ensuring they have the intelligence they need to conduct a war.
George Washington was not late to realize he needed a spy ring to defeat the British in the American Revolution. So, the Culper Ring was created, and their work during the American Revolutionary War was carried out in the shadows, often informally, and with a great deal of care for secrecy. Anyone caught spying was liable to be hanged by the British.
Based in New York during the British occupation, the Culper Ring provided vital intelligence from behind enemy lines. Their work gave Washington an insight into the British forces and their plans. They helped to turn the war in the revolutionaries' favor. And now, their story can be told once more.

Excellent ...thought provoking!

This book is interesting, to the point and well researched with very little unsubstantiated history without the author clearly making a reference to that fact.

This book is entertaining. Amazingly inspiring, informative and insightful. I am troubled with hearing more about our founding fathers and mothers and the Colonial and Revolutionary War era. This book not only answered my interest but was highly impressive!

I loved this book very much. It yet suggests the stage sweet and compares some variations between the opera and history as it happened. Quick and fascinating. I learned a lot.

what passed behind the Revolution War
Any additional comments?
This book certainly shed the lights what passed behind the Revolution War and how George Washington succeeded the battle against the Britons. Amazed that women were involved as spies too!
