Outstanding
I bought the audiobooks to listen to in bed upon completing the hard copy of the Complete Sherlock Holmes. Love it. Simon Vance has an ideal voice for the story, with excellent timing and execution. Will happily listen to these stories over and over again (when I don't have time to read them of course)

Great to hear the familiar stories read so well
Enjoyable & entertaining to revisit since I first read them as teenager... Storytelling done well and flowed in a way that carried you with it

Brilliant book
Absolutely brilliant sorry it had to end. Loved every second and Simon Vance is a giant in narration loved to here him I shall look out for him with other books top stuff.

Certified classic and fantastic voice actor!
Made me love detective stories even more. i know this is a classic but even though it has been written ages ago you could still enjoy it so much! The voice actor is great and helps you imagine the scenes!

The reader was Holmes!
The reader was excellent but almost outHolmed Holmes as a terse and incisive voice. Not enough variation between Holmes and narrative maybe, but very good.

narration was the best I've had in a long time just wish there was more books that it was written very enjoyable

Loved this book
I have loved this book it was really good, I have listened to it over 1 year and will listen to it again. So many chapters and so many stories. This had made me want to go to the Sherlock Holmes museum. Would recommend 5*
