Could this Christmas be the start of a whole new chapter?

* * *

A long-lasting friendship
Every year, Erica, Claudia, and Anna reunite for their book club holiday. They’re bonded by years of friendship and a deep love of books, but there is still so much they keep from each other . . .

A perfect Christmas escape
At the cosy Maple Sugar Inn, Hattie specialises in making her guests’ dreams come true, but this Christmas all she wants is to survive the festive season. Between running the inn and being a single mother, Hattie is close to breaking point.

The start of a brand-new story…?
Over the course of an eventful week, Hattie sees that the friends are each carrying around unspoken truths, but nothing prepares her for how deeply her story will become entwined in theirs. Will this Christmas be the end of the book club’s story or the start of a whole new chapter?

Another great Christmas book from Sarah Morgan

I don’t think another book could ever live up to Snowed in for Christmas! However, I absolutely loved this book, full of adventures, stories of love, friendship and finding yourself. Another classic from Sarah Morgan that I can’t wait to re-read

Friends

I just loved this delightful book that showed the absolutely different personalities of the character of the friends and how their beautiful relationship with each other works. Also the importance of having someone you can talk to about anything. A problem shared and all that!

Like a warm hug in front of a fire.

Another wonderful book from Sarah Morgan. Each book gets better and better and I only have one criticism. I never want them to end! The characters feel like old friends and I feel sad that I’ve said goodbye.

enjoyable

cosy story about everyday life. Didn't particularly like the narrator's voice though, rather bland and monotone

Exactly what I was looking for

When I picked up this book, I was looking for a christmasy, heartwarming type of story, and it absolutely hit the right spot.

It has it all, friendship, family, struggles, a nice twist, break ups, an evolving relationship, and so much more!

It had the perfect amount of drama, with loss included, I also liked in the touch of the subject of a single (scared) mother and how that marked her child, I particularly enjoyed the fact added that the child, instead of point blank blaming the mother’s actions, decided to put herself in her mum’s shoes and understand how a traumatic situation shaped her, just chef’s kiss!

It’s the first book I read by Sarah Morgan, but I’ll sure be back when I need to lighten up the mood
