About this listen
Criminal defence lawyers must make their peace with one harsh fact of life: most of their clients are guilty.
Yet when William Tucker, a celebrated and self-centered star college football player, is suddenly arrested and charged with the brutal rape and murder of a college coed two years before, his broken-down, drunken estranged father, Frank, can't believe he's guilty. What father could?
But Frank is also an ex-criminal defence lawyer. Now Frank must find a way to sober up and save his son from the death penalty sought by an ambitious district attorney. Can a father's love for his accused son save him from death?

As always Jeff Harding is exceptional in his narration, bringing the story to life.
My favourite author and favourite narrator, my only problem is - I have listened to all the books.
Thank you to both of them!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
DefinatelyWhat other book might you compare The Case Against William to, and why?
One or two of Grishams' have the same basic story line i.e good lawyer goes bad and then good again but that comparison can be made in all gendres after all there are only so many story lines the writers art is making their one individualHave you listened to any of Jeff Harding’s other performances? How does this one compare?
Many - as usual his performance is superb - a true master of the art.Excellent in all respects
