Joe Dillard box set, series 1.
I really enjoyed all the stories in this set. Lots of plot twists, and great characters. Really good narration too. Definitely worth listening too.

in all truth, I only read a couple chapters.
Too much discussion about penis' & their size & use. It is not my kind of book. I wouldn't rate so low, but Audible will not allow returns & I'm not happy with that either. So, I doubled down on the rating & yes I heard sample & read description; just didn't realize the continual theme.

Couldn't put it down
Absolutely Remarkable storyline and great narration. I absolutely loved every aspect, dialog, twist and turn while leaving me breathless for more content on these characters.
Written exceptionally well and the narration was spot on.
I definitely recommend all novels in this series, well worth your time.

Soooooo goooood!!!
The author and the narrator really pull you into to the lives of the characters and you feel like you are right there. I found myself yelling at Joe out loud and people around me looking at me like I’m crazy! I love Joe but I think my favorite reoccurring character in this series of 4 books was hands down the owner of the Mouse’s Tail, Arlene. She is so sassy! I sure hope she will be part of the next set.

WONDERFUL COLLECTION!!!
This is a wonderful series. I think it's the best value for the credit that I've purchased since being a member of Audible. Scott Pratt is an extremely talented author and storyteller. Tim Campbell does a great job of narration. I only wish there were a dozen more buys like this one.

Excellent series
Absolutely perfect suspense, action series, all the way through the 4 books and I think the ending of the 4th is absolutely perfect !the narrators are also perfect !

these books were awful,
I find it hard to believe that I actually listened to all four of these books. The southern accents of the narrator are ridiculous.
I was desperate for something to listen too and I should have just turned them in for a credit but after having read a whole book I decided that trading them in was not fair. If you like these books your opinion of good stories is far different from mine. Week story, Bad narration, and impossible endings.

Good read
Joe Dillard is a bad ass lawyer! Fun to read. I can vivid see myself doing some of the same things he did in the book.

Legal, investigative, and police procedurals. Joe Dillard is a criminal defense lawyer with flaws - specifically, a short fuse nearly always directed toward someone anyone would like to punch out. Joe is fiercely defensive of his family, particularly his wife. From early in the series, Caroline's battle with cancer is almost another character. The legal community respects Joe, and he has influential friends, including the local sheriff and law enforcement, rare for a defense attorney. Each book consists of a stand-alone story of rape, murder, missing people, mobs, addicts, crooked cops, devious politicians, amoral judges, and more - each story is unique and creative. Read in sequence for continuity and character development.
Liked. Stories! It's just a great series with excellent, page-turning plots. No sex, no objectionable language. No trouble discerning who is speaking to whom. Narration and production are fine.
Not so hot. Not much! Bumped the audio speed on the iPhone to 1.4 - a preference, not criticism.
The series consists of 10 full-length novels. Books 1-4 and 5-8 are available in two box sets, books 9 and 10 in separate purchases. Well worth the investment. Written by Scott Pratt, narrated by Tim Campbell, over 70 hours of listening in unabridged format, released from September 22 through June 2023.
