Quality Collection from Horror Grand Master

Brian Lumley has to be one of the most consistently excellent writers of modern horror fiction. His work is always well written and nothing less than interesting. This is another strong collection that mainly features Cthulhu Mythos tales.
My favourites in this volume were The Writer in the Garret and Ambler's Inspiration. Dylath-Leen is also a wonderfully imaginative story set in Lovecraft's Dreamlands.
Joshua Saxon's narration is typically excellent. I believe that Saxon could read from a dictionary and still make it sound riveting. There is something truly special about this combination of writer and narrator.
I highly recommend this and the other Lumley collections that Saxon has narrated.
