Summary
A shadow follows Sophie. Watching. Waiting.
Her instinct tells her that it's someone she knows. But who? The man she met Internet dating? The nurse caring for her ill mother? Or is her mother faking her illness?
The only thing she knows is that she can't trust anyone. Sophie must delve into a dark history to reveal her stalker. But there are some stories that should never be told.

Not for me
I just didn’t think an awful lot happened for a long time and then when it did I found it quite confusing. I normally like this author’s books but this one wasn’t a hit for me.

Is was ok.
It was a slow, boring story. The ending was ok. Trigger warning for anyone that's going through or gone through a family member having alzheimer's as this is most of the story.

Wow!!
What an amazing book!! Excellent storyline, excellent narration- what more can I say without telling the story? It's one of those (unfortunately rare) books which keeps the reader just flowing along without the need to keep flicking back to remind oneself what happened a few weeks ago - or who's who. This book is not trying to be too clever or deep - it's just a jolly good read and I would thoroughly recommend it.
P.S. Sarah - if you read this review, how about a sequel? Don't want to spoil it for others, but would love to know what happens next!!

Ridiculous Narration
How on Earth did the narration for this get the green light? It’s supposed to be a serious, dark thriller told by the 35 yr old protagonist, but it’s narrated as though it’s a 65 yr old little old lady telling a silly children’s story. The 55 yr old mother’s voice is like an 80 yr old pantomime ‘old crone’ character!
I kept giving up but then forcing myself to give it another go because of all the reviews mentioning the ‘amazing twist’ etc, but when it got to it, the twist was what I’d thought it would be all the way along.
Had to play it double speed just to get through it. If you’re put off by bad narration, or if you’ve read books like these and are likely to work out what’s going on early on I’d skip it. If not, it’s an ok book.

Amazing
Well I have to say another Top star rated story by a fantastic author Sarah Denzil, I can’t wait for the next story of hers to listen too. The story had me on the edge of my seat longing to find out who the Shadow was , captivating, a journey full of highs and lows of poor Sophie and her mum
10/10
