A bit different from the run of the mill historical romances.

It took a while to get used to the narrator but the story was excellent and very much like all of Carole Dunn’s books. It was super.

New Carola Dunn audiobook

For clarity, I received a copy of the audio free from the author.
I have been a fan of Ms Dunn's Daisy Dalrymple books, and also her Cornish mysteries, for many years. I have recently discovered or re-discovered her historical romances.
I enjoyed this book very much, the narrator took a bit of getting used to, it did not take too long to find her presentation of the characters very entertaining.
A great listen for a day of mundane work. Loved all the characters.
