Great book
I loved the series of the air raid girls, but I think when they changed the narrator on the last book, she should have listened to the first two. Fred didn’t have a German accent, that’s how he blended in. On the last book he suddenly had a strong one, it sort of ruined the character. Brilliant series. Loved listening to it

What a Shame
The continuation of "The Air Raid Girls" series is superb storytelling by Jenny Holmes. What a shame that Penelope Freeman didn't listen to the first two book narrations by Anne Dover. Penelope has all the females sounding twee with teeny tiny voices and nothing like the strong characters they are. The worst thing is that she has given Fred a German accent. If she had read or listened to the previous two books, she would have realised that he doesn't sound German which is how he managed to hide his real identity for so long. I do wish Anne had narrated this third book too. Very disappointing.
