I enjoyed this book - it was both practical and helpful. The author uses beautiful language and similes each day to teach and inspire and she does this with a meek and gentle spirit. She also uses examples and testimonies out of her own life that are encouraging. She has a lovely voice and places emphasis at the appropriate places. Each day’s listen is short (9 minutes or less) and therefore easily doable, and could double up as your Bible reading for the day.

This book was amazing! I wanted to fast from sugar for some time ,but always felt weak. This time I managed the 40 day fast with God's help and help of this book which everyday gave me extra meaning why I am doing this and that it is about focusing on God and not sugar when I would normally run to it. I have heard Lord's voice louder,felt closer to Him and got some answers! Thank you so much for this book,Wendy,I can’t wait for the 40 day Feast😀

This is my third book with this author. I wouldn't have been able to get through the 40 days without this. Inspired. It seemed that every time I came up against something, wanted to throw in the towel, got comfortable, needed a challenge or was about to get complacent and shift focus; the next devotional spoke to those thoughts. It was a nice touch that the book is read by the author. It's enabled me to start the journey to a deeper and inner work. Highly, highly recommend.
