Summary
I ran from home to escape heartbreak, only to deliver myself into the hands of a wolf.
Henry Wolf, that is.
Heir to a luxury hotel chain, infamous playboy, arrogant bastard...and my new boss.
Why he wants me, Abbi Mitchell - a girl who lacks experience on every front that would matter to him - as his personal assistant, I cannot fathom, especially when I keep messing up in the most spectacular way.
Did I already mention he's a bastard?
A beautiful, moody one, who's quick to demand, slow to apologize.
And toying with me every chance he gets.
Testing me.
Screwing with my head in a way that makes my body crave him.
He knows it, and he doesn't hide the fact that he enjoys doing it.
He says he doesn't want me for more than my mediocre computer skills and color-coding flair.
He says he's not willing to risk losing his empire for a tangle in the sheets with "the help."
But I'm beginning to think that's a big, dirty lie.
Contains mature themes.

Boring 🤦♀️
There is a book from this author that everyone is talking about on Instagram, so because this was included in the subscription I decided to give it a go!! I can't believe I actually listen to the book 🤦♀️. First thing I dislike, millionaire 🤮, insecure female character, story is just so .... at some point I was talking to myself, seriously who does that 🤦♀️ and last it's a cliffhanger, hate those. Won't be listening to the other books in the series and not sure if I will try this again.

The same ilk of 50 shades
This is very much giving 50 shades vibes, maybe there is more to come but there's no real story, it's just Abi lusting after her boss and Henry (her boss) taking full advantage of her infatuation.

Kind of disappointing
It was kind of disappointing, especially after reading KA Tucker's Wild At Heart series. I found it just ok and I'm not sure if I'll continue with this series.

Love the story, although not fan of all the religious stuff, but I guess there are people like that. Starting next part ASAP.

Ends on a cliffhanger
I enjoyed this book.
Abby is a very innocent virgin being tempted by the experienced wolf. I liked the setting, a hotel in Alaska, but I'm not crazy about their chemistry. I think KA Tucker is doing a fantastic job developing Abby's character. Even though I usually don't like insecure and weak characters, I totally get it where she's coming from. It matches the reality of Abby. This is just the beginning of the story, so we'll see it the next book takes us.

Finished in a day
I really loved this book. Abby is a sheltered 21 year old girl raised in purity culture, who gets a summer job in Alsaka to escape her cheating boyfriend. With her new found freedom, she's able own who she really is and identify what she really wants.
Her boss is attracted to her immediately and so is she to him and he's 10 years older than her, but it doesn't feel as inappropriate as you'd think. There are times when he does unkind things cos he doesn't know how to deal with the dynamic, but I love how he makes her feel comfortable with herself encourages her to explore things she's curious about but would be shamed for at home.
If you dislike forbidden romance, age gap, boss/assistant relationship, a sheltered FMC who isn't quite mature, you won't like this book.
