Summary
A chance encounter between a secretive billionaire and a plus-size PR expert could be the perfect solution to both their problems - or a delicious scandal in the making - in New York Times best-selling author J. S. Scott's new British Billionaires series....
I am the type of woman who always plays it safe. In my professional life as a public relations "fixer", and in my personal life, especially when it comes to the opposite sex. Really, who needs the wild highs and the I-want-to-die-because-he-left-me lows of a relationship? At least, that's what I thought...until I met him.
Damian No-Last-Name-Given is sexy as sin, and I'd developed some kind of weird, instant attraction to him the moment he settled his chiseled body next to mine on a flight from London to Los Angeles. His sexy British accent did crazy things to my previously dormant female hormones, which had eventually led me to do the most impulsive thing I'd ever done in my entire life. I kissed him while everyone else in business class was sleeping. Or had he kissed me? All I knew was that we were both very willing participants, and that panty-melting embrace had rocked my entire world while it was happening.
Unfortunately, that moment of spontaneity would haunt me once I found out Mr. British Hottie's true identity. He'd held his last name back for a reason. Oh no, I couldn't make some once-in-a-lifetime misstep with an ordinary businessman. When I screwed up, it had to be one for the record books, and it had to happen with one of the most powerful men in the world. And, oh yeah, he also absolutely had to be the biggest man-whore on the planet.
Once I knew the truth, I could have easily convinced myself that the kiss wasn't all that earthshattering - if Damian Lancaster hadn't boldly swaggered into my office the very next day to apologize, and to make me a business offer I couldn’t possibly refuse....
Goodbye sanity; hello madness.

Ended up reading the book
As with other J S Scott books this book did not disappoint. Nicole and Damians journey from the start to finish is an amazing love story. From the minute she fell in his lap on that aeroplane I was glued to the story.
I initially started this on audible but ended up reading the book as I did let get on with the male voice on audible. Happy to have been able to read this book and I greatly look forward to Kylie and Dylan’s story next in the British billionaire series.

Terrible male narrator
I really like JS Scott and was looking forward to this new series, but RC's narration made me cringe! I made it to chapter 3 and then gave up, so I can't review the story. I'll have to read the kindle version when it's released.

Overall ok
Easy listening to this book although at times it did sound like the male narrator was reading the 10 o’clock news

Just fine
Fine for an easy listen and the love seems are well written for the most part.
Story was predictable and use of ‘female’ as the descriptor was off putting.
The female narration was very good but the male voice was awful. The reading was stilted , the accent awful and frustratingly you knew the artists capable of better as there were a few lines when speaking with his own family where the speech was more fluent and natural. The result was it felt cringeworthy in some parts…

Male narrator let it down
really enjoyed the storyline but the male narration was very poor and off-putting the female one was excellent and would have been better on her own

It’s giving Wattpad
If you loved Wattpad stories then you’ll enjoy this, it reminds me of fan-fiction. It was alright.
The dodgy English accent was kind of offensive. I like the fact that the main character was curvy and tall.

Horrible narration, fake British accent
Worst audible book , the voice really put me off listening. Why couldn’t they find someone with a proper British accent

Going to try Kindle instead
Unfortunately I couldn't get past the 1st minute of this book. Going to try and read it on kindle instead.
I found myself listening to the attempt at a British accent instead of the story. My immediate thought was ooh I like RCs voice and then cringed at the attempt.

Average story, great narration
The narration made this story seem loads better than it was. The basis for all the conflict was just frustratingly silly. That together with the story drifting off and losing momentum starting somewhere around the middle (after a strong start) meant I couldn’t give it more than 3 stars. The story was ok, and I’ll probably still get the next book in the series if I fancy an easy listen. The narration is superb and it was engaging.

Being an Audiobook
Storyline - tried and true but was still to enjoy it. Would prefer that the male storyline is read by the male and vice versa. Felt some of the phrases would not be said by an upper class character. Very sad that part 2 & 3 have not been recorded yet. I hope that changes soon.
