An anthology of creepy tales
When I was first recommended this audiobook, I was bit reluctant. I normally try to avoid short books, because I prefer to listen/read something that I can delve in, becoming lost in the narrative of a long story. I have to admit I was actually quite pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed listening to this book.
Even though it is a rather short, it still managed to hold my interest. It is an anithology of tales of varying length. A mixture of tales that are humorous, creepy, compelling and intriguing.
The book is narrated perfectly and if I am being honest, I felt a bit nostalgic listening to his voice, bringing back memories of watching The Waltons with my family and listening to the narrator at the start and end of each episode.
If you are looking for a book to listen on a short car journey or bus ride, then this would be perfect for you. It is also perfect to listen on those cold winter nights sitting with the family if you want to fancy getting together to listen to something of spooky nature,
