Ruined!!!

Ruined! That's what I am! I am ruined for all book boyfriends thanks to Ella Frank! I cannot tell you how many times I read and listened to the Temptation series before I even knew about TATE!!! And now that I've read and listened to TATE, I'm probably going to re-read and re-listen to the series again! Here's the thing; even though I knew what I was getting myself into, I just needed so badly to listen to Shannon Gunn's sultry voice as he narrates Logan and Tate. I laughed and I cried (again), and I even laughed-cried if that's even a thing because I did and I can't get enough of Tate and Logan, and there's no doubt that I've literally fallen in love with this couple. Even though I've prayed that this series doesn't end I know that eventually, all great and wonderful things come to an end. Their raw honesty between each other and scorching love will have you wishing you had at least a small piece of that! Ella Frank got me thinking that I'd be more satisfied and happy if I were a gay man!!! I feel so emotional right now. Even after I read the book, listening to it will change you! What I could say is that TATE will have you laughing, crying, panting (their love is smoking hot and their sex even hotter!), and gasping for air since your heart will be caught in your throat half the time. A beautiful and raw story, I give it and Shannon Gunn 5 fucking stars and then the moon, and sun and I'll even give up my first born if Ella could release the next book in this series this year and not 2018 and just put me out of my misery!

Okay, up front...if you haven't read the rest of this series, don't start here. You need to read the whole series. This is a story about one couple that builds up over the course of the six books in the series. And it's a GREAT series, so if you haven't read it, you definitely need to.

In this book, the guys have hit a bit of a rough patch after Tate turned down Logan's proposal of marriage. What I love about these books is just how committed the guys are to one another. There are no games, no subterfuge. In this book, they are at a rough patch, but never once do you feel like they aren't going to make it. They are always honest with one another and that really sets these books higher than others in the genre. That honesty between them is refreshing and makes the commitment the two guys have to their relationship feel solid even when nothing else is.

I love this series and the narrator is fabulous. I love listening to them in audio. Only one more book left. I'm going to be sad when I have to leave Logan and Tate forever, but I'm really hoping the author is setting up a series for Priest and Robbie...crossing fingers big time here. (I need to go check...there may actually already be books out, I haven't done my research on it yet).

awesome addition to the series!

Ella Frank never disappoints with any of her series, but Logan and Tate hold a special place in my heart! Their love is a shiny beacon whenever there are bad times to work through. This book pulled out all the stops! And let's talk about our narrator, Shannon Gunn! There is absolutely no one that could duplicate Logan for me! He does well with Tate and everybody else too, but its the subtle inflections he gives Logan that makes it over and above. You feel the hurt or the love coming through his voice. That's not only a sign of a good author to make those feelings appear, its also a sign of an awesome narrator to take those feelings and bring them life!

Since this is book five in the Temptation series, it can not be read as a stand alone. Please start from the beginning and maybe consider the audio version! I promise it is worth your time and hard earned dollars!

Another great novel from Ella Frank! I don’t know how you do it but you do. Shannon Gunn’a narration of Tate is one of the best I’ve heard. He puts as much passion and depth into Logan and Tate as Ella does writing them. I swear they are more then just book charters to me, they are real people. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

A beautiful continuation of Logan and Tate's story.
Shannon Gunn as a narrator makes you connect even more with them and adds an extra dimension to this wonderful story.

Beautiful and heart breaking

So many emotions! Unfortunately, I found this series just as all the hype of the 6th and last book of the series is coming out so knowing about that book and seeing all the Facebook posts kind of deflated the climax for me a bit. I already knew the ending. My own fault, of course. it was still a lovely chapter in Tate and Logan's lives that I wouldn't want to miss. I was happy to see more closure of the past with both of them. Also looking forward to the next books on Robby and Priest. That kind of contempt in such voracity can only be a prelude to more.

It’s the voice!

I love this series and I love these books, it’s the narrator’s voice that ruins them for me. He makes Tate sound like a doofus, he makes Cole sound pretentious and bourgeoisie, he makes Logan sound effeminate, Rachael sound dainty, Priest sound like a fourth-grade nerd, and Robbie sound like like he’s trying too hard. And not to mention how angry and aggressive he narrates the intimate scenes. The scenes in the book are smoking, but there is nothing even remotely attractive about the way he narrator reads the intimate scenes. I really, really wish the author would have gone with someone else to narrate this series because this narrator did so much more harm than good to this series. I don’t care how much I love a book, if this person is narrating it, it will be an automatic skip for me. Aiden Snow would have been a phenomenal choice.
