Kline and Georgia Brooks are fresh off their wedding and ready to indulge in the honeymoon of a lifetime. Luxurious and private, their overwater bungalow in the South Pacific is the perfect backdrop for fun, sun, and enough sexiness to necessitate a dip in the clear water to cool down. But marriage means more, and Kline and Georgia may have to find a different way to handle the heat.

Story
Dr. Will Cummings is the star of a medical reality show that's practically blown up overnight in popularity, and I'm the new nurse at his practice. Unfortunately for me, I'm also the nurse who made a completely awkward first impression by introducing myself while he was in the middle of a pap smear and ending the day by accidentally showing him my ta-tas. Yes, that's right. I gave my new boss a peep show. Gah. You'd think I'd have already put in my resignation and moved to Alaska, but no. I'm still here, getting to know just how much more Dr. Will is than a handsome face.

Story
I'm Matt Hadder. I've been called ruthless, savage - even brutal - by the men and women who work for me. And I've earned my reputation. Wonderland Inc., a party planning organization for every major player in the world, is Oz, and I'm its Wizard. I can make anything - drugs, prostitutes, deals - appear for a night and disappear just as quickly. This doesn't make me good or bad - it makes me essential. Wonderland Inc. was my life, until a beautiful contradiction of innocence and impurity, obedience and rebelliousness named Alex Little stepped in.

You know how people say you can never believe what you read on the interwebs? That a hot guy online is probably a creeper with a beer gut and a shoe fetish, not the sexy beast he pretends to be? So I had no clue that the anonymous blogger who contacted my law firm about his naughty website would be droolworthy in real life. Not that I'm interested in him in that way. Attorneys can't go around sleeping with their clients. Not even if he is the most beautiful man I've ever met and so ridiculously smart he makes my nerdy-girl heart sigh.

He's a billionaire heir. A grump supreme. Hater of people. Bigger hater of peopling with people. And my new fake boyfriend. "Emotionally unavailable" doesn’t even begin to describe Hayes Rutherford. He has more defenses than a nuclear missile silo. And he’s the ultimate catch of the century. At least, according to his bank statement. My job’s simple: Keep all interested ladies away from the walled-off heir, by pretending to be his one true love. But you know what they say about fake-dating a billionaire: It’s all fun and games, until the scandals start.

Who knew sleeping with the enemy could be this much fun? In my defense, I had just moved back into my grandparent’s house. I’d lost my dream job, and a guy on Tinder had stood me up. It was like life had suddenly stamped ‘LOSER’ on my forehead. So, when the guy behind the bar started giving me the look....you know, the one....You don’t bother to figure out what your six degrees of separation are. You jump on that horse, and ride it! By the time I’d figured out who the bartender was, I was already falling for him.

It's not like I'm going to do anything. The handsome stranger I meet has different plans. One glance across the crowded party and an hour later we're stretched out on silk. No names and no regrets. I'll be the first to admit that I live at extremes. After going 10 years locked in what felt like a dysfunctional marriage, I'm now decidedly boy-free. In nearly three years I've had no boyfriends, no flings, no dates, and no sex. For the sake of my dream career, the sacrifice has been easy. At least it was. Until he came along. Lukas Hendricks. He's rude, gorgeous, arrogant - a stone-carved wall of muscle and distraction. He's everything I know to avoid but there's no avoiding your next-door neighbor.

Five hockey players, a cabin in the woods...and little old me, Winnie Berlin. Sounds like the start of a fantasy, right? But it's not. It's my reality. It all started when I got lost in the middle of the Canadian Rockies. A wicked thunderstorm sent my car mud sliding into a ditch, and for a girl whose survival skills involve finding the nearest Starbucks, I was in deep trouble. Forced to abandon my car in search of help, I stumbled upon a cabin in the middle of nowhere.

He was gorgeous, older and guarded. I knew he was trouble from the moment we locked eyes. We met at work, on my first day as a barista. He smiled, I melted...then he tasted my coffee and threw it away. Again, the next day, and the next. He hated the coffee, yet still came back. I knew his game. He called my coffee death in a cup. I called him god’s gift to women. I wasn’t lying.

Reasons why I should not be drawn to Troy Serrano. Number one: He’s obnoxious. Number two: We were enemies more than a decade ago. Number three: He’s my friend’s ex-boyfriend. I could go on and on, really. When my boss gives me an unwanted assignment, and tells me it involves spending time with the grandson of one of our residents, the grandson turns out to be Troy. They say that all men are created equal. Well, that’s a blatant lie! I know, because I met God's gift to women in Vegas; I pretended he was my husband to get rid of another man. He took our fake marriage seriously, and it became his personal goal to consummate. He spoke to me in French, and I lied to him in German. His laughter was addictive. But I thought what happens in Vegas would stay in Vegas. Until it didn't.

Summary
Blind dates? Online dating profiles? Been there, done that.
Georgia Cummings has zero luck with dating, and the era of the Internet is not her friend. No matter how fast she runs, how many corners she turns, she can't find her way out of this weird, alternate universe where men think dick pics are a replacement for small talk and getting to know a girl. One more crotch selfie and she might write men off for good.
But why can't she stop fantasizing about him?
Kline Brooks is the quintessential billionaire bad boy - dark, styled, short hair, muscles for days, and a panty-dropping smile.
Except he isn't. As his employee, he won't touch her with a 10-foot pole. And she won't touch him either. Too bad their hormones missed the memo.

Sweet Funny Romance!!!
What made the experience of listening to Tapping the Billionaire the most enjoyable?
I had already read this book before I listened to the audiobook, but I love that I get to experience it in another medium. This book is not what you'd expect it to be. Billionaire? Check. Bad boy? Nope. Womanizing arrogant jerk? Not even close. But it will make you laugh and it will make you smile.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Tapping the Billionaire?
One of the most memorable moments came when Kline called Georgia from his flight and asked her to give a play-by-play of a football game going on that he and Thatch had a bet on. She, not being a football fan, does not know any football lingo so they have to interpret her commentary, including her very funny nicknames for the players in the game. I was laughing so hard!
There's also a scene where Geogia has an allergic reaction and takes way too much Benadryl.
Which character – as performed by CJ Bloom and Eric Michael Summerer – was your favorite?
I really enjoyed all of the characters, but I have to say that I have a soft spot for Kline, and Thatch and Cassie were hilarious best friends. Both CJ Bloom and Eric Michael Summerer did a wonderful job! I've listened to both of them before and always enjoy their performances.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I listened to it all in one sitting!
Any additional comments?
In Tapping the Billionaire Kline Brooks is the owner of a large media company and Georgia Cummings is the head of the marketing department. One night Kline is at work and his mother calls him to tell him that she set him up with a date for an upcoming gala, not wanting to go with yet another self-obsessed floosie Kline tells his mother he already has a date. Georgia is working late at the office listening and singing along (to a very inappropriate song... It deals with her neck, her back, her...) when Kline walks in and asks her to be his date to an upcoming gala - she eventually agrees.
Let me just say that this book wasn't what I was expecting, and I mean that in the best way possible. It's got a very strong male and female lead which I really enjoyed. The billionaire romance is starting to get a little saturated but this was fresh and new. Yes, there are cliches, but that's part of what makes romance so enjoyable. There isn't a lot of angst, but it's also not all sex scenes, while there is a bunch of sex there is also a lot of substance inbetween. We get to see the day to day life of the characters, work and home life (there is an asshole cat named Walter in it), so it feels like you're invested and you care. This book also doesn't take itself too seriously, it's fun and funny and the perfect escape. I highly recommend it!

Okay, yes.
Normally I won't buy books with 'billionaire' anywhere in the title, but tried this one based on the reviews. It's a pretty good book, and frankly there was no reason for this guy to be a billionaire other than to prove that he's successful and humble. Oh, and to make possible a grand gesture over a contrived misunderstanding. For me, clever banter can overcome a multitude of ills, so I did like this book.
Did I like it enough for a credit? No. Sale? Yes.

I just can’t.
I’ve tried several times to listen to this book, but I just can’t listen to CJ Bloom’s performance. The pitch and volume of her voice can be best described as shrill, most irritating. I don’t know if I fairly rated “overall and story” catergories . I just can’t get far enough into the story. I like the author Max Monroe and Eric Michael Summerer and would choose them again but, I will also look for CJ Bloom and never choose a book that she is a narrator. Will try to return the book. I have downloaded the rest of this series and I hope “Tapping the billionaire” does not affect the other books.

Fun Story But Skip the Audio
The excerpt sounded really good and most of the reviews were favorable so I was really looking forward to this. I should preface this my saying that a lot of this is likely just based on personal preference so take it as you will.
First of I think this probably would have been much better if I had bought the e-book and not the Audible. The narration just flat out ruined this for me. The male narrator was fairly decent but the female narrator was just awful in my opinion. She overly emphasized every other word and she practically yelled the dialogue. It was horribly distracting. The dialogue itself didn't help. A lot of it was cringe worthy. The nicknames drove me nuts and some of the sex euphemisms just made me roll my eyes.
The overall story was fun and there were parts that made me laugh out loud in a good way but there were just too many nitpicks for me to really enjoy it. I don't know if it was because of the narrator but I just didn't care for the female protagonist. She just seemed too flighty. I may try another book of this author's but in e-book form to see if the audio really makes that much difference.

Hilarious!
Would you consider the audio edition of Tapping the Billionaire to be better than the print version?
Kinda? Sometimes during the reading of the text got me a little wired up and confused. I think also when it came to the main character and her best friend, the narrator got a little too excited I guess? She was going very fast and made it hard to understand.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Tapping the Billionaire?
The benadryl incident lol So funny!
Have you listened to any of CJ Bloom and Eric Michael Summerer ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I haven't.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Don't drink benadryl & date
Any additional comments?
I thought this book was great, so much fun and the sex was super hot!
