About this listen

Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing is the first book in the hilariously funny Fudge series from the iconic Judy Blume.

Peter thinks he has the world's biggest problem – his naughty little brother, Fudge.

Fudge causes trouble wherever he goes and it's usually up to Peter to sort out the mess. When Peter wins a tiny green turtle called Dribble, he's determined to keep it away from his brother. But when Fudge does get his hands on Dribble – disaster strikes!

The chaos continues in Otherwise Known as Sheila the Great and Superfudge.

Lovely revisiting my childhood.

I read this book as a child along with the rest of the series apart from Double fudge which did not come out until I was a teen. In the last couple of years I have started reading some of my childhood favourites to see what I think of them as an adult.

I forgot how funny this book was until the reread and i'm looking forward to revisiting the rest of the series. The series is narated by peter Hatcher the oldest child. It's about him and his little brother fudge who's a child who likes to get into a lot of trouble. Chaos happens where ever fudge ends up and the trouble he gets into is so funny as he comes across as such a charming little child. Judy Blume was one of my favourite authors as a child and it's fun re visiting this series. As an adult obviously does not have the same charm as it did when I was a child however it was still very funny and a lovely easy read.
