Swinging Strike
A college romance with sports, a gossip column and a hard to get rid of ex.... what more could you ask for? This book has a perfect blend of everything and some really great narration to bring it to life. Definitely a must read to a beginning of a new series.

Young adult sports romance
This is a young adult (college) enemies to lovers romance about a baseball player (Braxton) and his eventual love, Cara. They start off with a slightly contentious relationship, mostly from Cara’s side because she (and he, actually) have difficult romantic pasta. Can they get over past hurts to give each other a true chance?
This was a well written, interesting book. The characters felt young, with multiple miscommunications that set them back. However, these were not dragged out too long so I thought they provided good interest. Overall, I enjoyed the story and look forward to other books in the series.
I borrowed the book from KU and requested and received the audiobook that features Sarah Puckett and Chris Brinkley. Sara Puckett has such a beautifully expressive voice and did such a great job bringing Cara to life but also did very well with the other characters. Chris Brinkley also did very well although her female voice sounded a bit more forced. But I really enjoyed their narration!

Cara and Braxton!
Braxton is a college baseball player who is trying to make some decisions about his future so the last thing he needs is to become a headline in the paper. Cara has recently started at the college however she is letting her past experiences affect her present.
Cara is determined to not like Braxton, but he shows her that he is not the arrogant athlete that she believes he is. As they spend time together, they become close but will the secret she holds destroy the relationship that they have been building?
I really enjoyed watching Braxton and Cara handle what life was throwing at them as well as what they were throwing at each other. Romance, humor and great secondary characters make this a great beginning to a new series. I received a complimentary copy of the audiobook and thought that the narrators were a perfect choice for the story and the characters. 🎧 Audiobook Obsession

Enjoyable listen with great characters
The more the story progressed the more I liked the characters and got sucked into their world. Sarah Puckett and Chris Brinkley do a fantastic job bringing all the characters to life. I love the way they add so much to the story. The things that happened made me chuckle at times, and then at others I just wanted to grab the two of them and smack their heads together, lol. Really enjoyable listen.

Dating the hot athlete!!
Cara has sworn off athletes. Her latest experience was awful. Then in comes the new Babe Ruth embodied in a gorgeous ensamble. But one misunderstanding leads both into chaos. Braxton is way too charming but Cara isn’t falling for it. Their relationship builds on lies. Will they make it? You have ro listen to this book, it’s lovely and you cheer for them to finally get together. The narrators are awesome, they give such life to the characters.

Loved it!
I freaking loved it! This is my first book by Kimberly Readnour and I am not disappointed!
I love Braxton & Cara! The chemistry between them is undeniable! There were a few times I wanted to reach through my phone and smack them both upside the head! But I was so happy with the ending! I can’t wait to read/listen to the rest of the series!
Sarah & Chris both did a fantastic job narrating!

Teenage angst
This is a great teenage storyline. When a guy wants to change the direction of his future to have a relationship with a sweet girl there can only be trouble. The characters are well built and have lovely personalities. Both Sarah and Chris give a fantastic performance.

Hot New Adult Sports Romance
This is my first book by Kimberly Readnour and I loved it! It was fun and entertaining! Cara and Braxton have hot and sizzling chemistry! I love the different ups and downs that come with college and sportsbooks and this one made me super happy!
Sarah is one of my favorite narrators!! Chris also did a superb job narrating!

Great sports romance
I love a good sports romance and this one definitely didn’t disappoint! There was plenty of back and forth between the main characters and they truly worked for the relationship. I found myself screaming at both of them at times for their lack of communication and jumping to conclusions but that’s true for real relationships too so I appreciate the candor. The narrators were great as usual, can’t wait to listen to the next book in the series.

Well worth the wait
I have been wanting to listen to this book for a long time. OMG! I thoroughly enjoyed listening to it. The book was well written. The characters were multi dimensional, the situations were realistic. The dialogue was well done. I loved the narration. Sarah Puckett and Chris Brinkley did such a fabulous job in bringing this book to life. I was captivated from the beginning and was not able to put it down at all. I started it on Sunday morning and got all my chores done in record time. This book was well worth the wait and a fabulous listen. Kimberly Readnour is becoming a favorite author for me.
