Summary

It is snowing, she's barefoot, but Galya runs. Tricked into coming to Belfast with the offer of a good job, all she wants now is to go home. Her only hope is a man who gave her a cross on a fine chain and a phone number, telling her to call if she escapes. Now she puts herself at his mercy, knowing she has nowhere else to turn.

Best one yet by Stuart Neville

Twelve and Collusion were excellent books. As someone who lived and grew up in and around the areas described, I was completely absorbed in this continuing tale.

However, when the story comes right up to date in Stolen Souls, it goes up a gear and keeps the reader on the seat's edge, all the way through.

There is a pathway to a further sequel from Stolen Souls and I cannot wait to get it. Highly recommended.

A Thoroughly Good Read.

If you enjoy a gritty detective thriller then this book is a winner. Well narrated and the Belfast accent was close enough and the characters were easily distinguishable. The plot is well crafted and keeps the listener thinking, with a little twist near the end that I did not see coming. As this book appears to be part of an ongoing series not everything is resolved by the end of the book. There are also some references that I assume come from an earlier novel in the series, their inclusion does slightly confuse the plot when they do not appear to go anywhere.
These are minor details and should not stop you enjoying this entertaining read.

Missed the original narrator.

I don't know why Gerard Doyle was dropped. This narrator sounds like he's reading by numbers. Story is fantastic though.

A chilling story

On the positive side the narrator was excellent and really created the sometimes chilling atmosphere of the story ..Not for the faint hearted but an enthralling story .
