Welcome to Pepper Bay. A small close-knit community where you'll find chocolate box cottages, quaint shops, love, drama and a happily ever after.
Anna Cooper and Jake Reynolds both live at a luxury London building. The only difference is that Jake lives in the penthouse, and Anna lives in a tent on the roof. When Jake finds out, he offers Anna a chance of a new life in his grandmother's childhood home in Pepper Bay, and she decides to take the opportunity to see if she really can make a fresh start somewhere else. The beauty of Pepper Bay, with its quaint shops, chocolate box cottages and all of Jake's closest friends, immediately fills Anna's heart with nothing but love, and it isn't just Starlight Cottage that she finds herself falling in love with.

I'm so annoyed, I'm writing a 2nd review...
Never before have I been so annoyed at the treatment of a male character! So Anna's feeling are valid, and she can go at Jake, but somehow his don't matter? Then he gets called submissive??? Absolutely NO!!

Good story
I really liked the story, however, I found the male performance to be rather robotic/ ai which made it quite difficult to listen and enjoy while he was narrating.

Terrible narration
The narration made an ok-ish story unbearable. It’s a light and predictable story with not very in-depth characters but ok. The narrators though, both of them, have such nasal voices and lack any kind of talent to bring characters alive.

Absolutely loved it!
It was an unexpected find, and a very good listen.
Definitely not what I was expecting.
Loved the characters, story and narration.

Could be better
Just painfully slow and long. Not a but story, nice character just so terribly long. Three hours would have been ok… but 7? I finished it but I almost gave up a million times but I hate to leave books unfinished. Don’t think I could recommend. Maybe if you are sick in bed and need something extremely chilled
