Great storyline but....
The overly repetitive use of the term ‘silver f’ing mercant’ gets reeeaaaalllly annoying! Seriously Nalini you made your point about 16 silver f’ing mercants ago, for the love of god please stop!
But, having said that, it is yet another great story in the psy series that as usual had me laughing out loud in places.

One of my favourite Psy-changeling books. Twists and turns but happy ever after for most.

It made me laugh and cry
Heart breaking and funny but still a happy ending what more could you hope for in a book.

I love bears
I thought I loved cats the most. Lucas Hunter in the psy-changeling series was previously my favourite Alpha, but Valentin is right up there with him 💖. I loved hearing about the clan and the young bears. A great romantic escape 💯

It was ok
I sort of enjoy this author’s series, but it does sometimes feel like a bit of a slog to get through it (partly the narrator I think) and it doesn’t grab me by the heart or make me drop into the world as I listen. Nice enough story. Compared to the other books in the psy-changeling universe it’s probably somewhere in the middle. I like the concept of the series so I wish I connected with it more.

I am obsessed with this series.
re-reading the Trinity portion before I step into Wolf Rain. I have to say I love this more the second time I read it.
It's been a hot minute since I've been in this world. But it welcomed me back with a warm bear hug. This is the start of "season 2" of this world. And I loved this story from start to almost finish. The last chapter worried me a lot. Because I love that character so much.

One of her best
This book is a delight in audio. I loved the book but got so much more sense of the characters from the narration. Destined I think to be one of my favourite audio books.

Totally different experience from reading
I read this book more than 8 times c",) before listening to it on Audible. I have to confess though... the experience in reading it myself was TOTALLY DIFFERENT from listening to it. I had a whole different interpretation of Valentin's personality than what was portrayed by the narrator. Maybe it was the Russian accent!!! Or maybe I just didn't pick up on the small nuances of his personality while reading it. Weird experience... not bad weird, just strange.
