Summary
OSKAR
After a little mishap in an alleyway with CCTV, my public image needs fixing. Oops?
It might have been a stunt to get the attention of Lane Pierce, San Jose’s new PR manager, but I didn’t realize what the consequences would be when I did it. I’ve got Lane’s sole focus now in all the wrong ways.
He has designated himself as my babysitter, and while it’s fun messing with him, being bound by curfews and rules has never worked for me.
The more I push back, the more I realize what’s really on the line. My career, my future, and maybe even my heart.
LANE
Being appointed head of San Jose’s PR department was a dream come true…until I met Oskar Voyjik.
He may be San Jose royalty, but with the stunts Oskar’s been pulling, the team owner is down to his last thread of patience. Which puts me in the firing line. If I can’t turn Oskar’s entitled party boy image around, we’ll both be shown the door.
I have free rein to do whatever it takes, and it turns out whatever it takes is Oskar.
Only, the more entangled our lives become, the more I see the Oskar he’s buried deep down. The one who hurts, the one who’s sensitive and kind, the one…the one I think I’m falling for.
I can’t have him and my career, and if rumors of the professional lines I’ve crossed get out, it’s not only my dream job I can kiss goodbye; I’ll be disgraced from professional sports completely.

Loved this book for the sass alone!
This series will always have me entranced and Oskar and Lane didn't disappoint.
Oskar is truly one of the sassiest characters I have ever read. I loved how geniunely funny he was and how hard he made it for Lane not to crack, and yet he still took his job as a hockey player very seriously when he needed to. Also I loved how Lane was so commanding and brilliant at his job, and the underlining sass of this man really meshed well with Oskar.
You would think Oskar would have been the one in control of every situation in this book, but Lane played him like a fiddle, and I loved how well they got along from the moment they met. I thought they'd be like mean antagonistic, but they were definitely more playful. And I think Oskar really showed Lane that he could enjoy the fun aspects of life and not have to take everything so seriously all the time. They just really worked together in this book, especially when they both were ready to give up their jobs for one another. That just solidified their endgame status for me.
A shock for me was Oscar secretly being insecure about his looks being the only reason people care about him and that made me so sad for him. Lane really was there for him to show that his merit isn't based on what he looks like.
The amount cameos from Eden and Saxon's other books in this one really was the icing on the cake of a phenomenal novel. I can't wait for book four and to see the shenans this Collective get up to.

Loved!
I loved Oscar and Lane! These two had me cracking up with Oscar's antics as Lane tried controlling him. There were plenty of swoony parts along with extra steamy parts too. I loved the narration, the narrators did a perfect job voicing these two men.

Loved It!
Just as fabulous on audio! This is the narrator dream team!
This was SO GOOD! I tore through it in one day. Oskar and Lane just stole my heart. I was worried going in that Oskar was going to be too much to take, but early on we get to see beneath all the drama and antics that he is using to cover his pain and insecurities and I absolutely fell in love with him. Lane was just perfect for him. He too saw through Oskar's armor and slowly began chipping away at it. Their relationship was snarky, it was scorching hot, it was sweet, and it just made my heart happy. There were so many swoony moments that helped Oskar to slowly realize that Lane truly did see the real him. Their HEA was wonderful and the epilogue was fantastic! We also get so many cameos from previous series, and if you're a fan, you will absolutely love seeing all your favorites pop up again. I can't wait until the next book in this fabulous series. These authors just write fantastic books together!

So excited for this one
I was anticipating this one and it is so good! I'm really glad there wasn't a breakup for some silly reason. Narrators were awesome as usual.
